This project aims to boost the poultry industry in Edo State by facilitating the establishment of a modern 10,000 birds per day processing plant. Additionally, the project includes farmers geomapping, profiling, and onboarding to enhance the efficiency and productivity of chicken production in the state. By providing support and resources, the project seeks to increase income, food security, and job creation opportunities for rural youth and women.
The goal of this project is to nurture the growth of high-quality oil palm, cocoa, and cashew seedlings for sustainable agricultural production. By providing farmers with reliable and healthy seedlings, the project aims to enhance their productivity and profitability. Expert guidance and support are also provided to farmers to ensure the successful cultivation of these crops, ultimately leading to increased production and income for farmers in the state.
This project focuses on the development of the oil palm industry in Edo State. Activities include the delineation of buffer areas to protect oil palm plantations, crop enumeration to assess the size and distribution of oil palm plantations, and community engagement to ensure the participation and support of local communities. The project aims to increase the efficiency and profitability of the oil palm industry in the state while promoting sustainable practices and community development.
This project aims to improve veterinary public health in Edo State by reducing the incidence of diseases and ensuring food safety through the vaccination of farm animals. By vaccinating farm animals against common diseases, the project helps to prevent the spread of diseases among animals and reduce the risk of transmission to humans. This not only improves the health and welfare of farm animals but also ensures the safety and quality of animal products for human consumption.
